We’re thrilled to share our milestone achievement!

Sri Lanka Accreditation Board proudly announces the implementation of the ICAO-CORSIA scheme under the ISO/IEC 17029:2019  Accreditation scheme. The first  CORSIA accreditation was granted to a Sri Lankan  Validation and Verification Body – Sustainable Future Group in October 2023. We’re soaring to new heights in environmental accountability!

The awarding ceremony of Accreditation was part of the EU-SA APP II – Environment Matters in Aviation workshop, where EU & South Asia united for a greener, more sustainable aviation future. Discussions on CORSIA implementation, carbon emissions offsetting, and sustainable aviation fuels (#SAF) were at the forefront during the workshop. It was an exceptional opportunity for the SLAB team to exchange insights, best practices, and strategies in the sustainable aviation sector with workshop speakers Ms. Africa Abajas, Mr. Carlos Menéndez de Solas, and representatives of Civil Aviation authorities across the South Asia region.

This accomplishment reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to quality and precision. We’re enthusiastic to continue our journey, ensuring trust and credibility in the aviation industry.
