OVERVIEW:
This course is designed to train anyone who wishes to perform laboratory assessments using ISO/IEC 17025 as the assessment standard.
This programme provides detailed interpretation of requirements in ISO/IEC 17025: 2017, SLAB accreditation process and requirements, documentation for laboratory quality management, internal auditing, specific knowledge on measurement uncertainty, calibration & metrological traceability and method verification & validation. Also including interactive sessions, group activities, presentations and role play and examination.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Potential individuals who intend to join SLAB assessor pool for testing and calibration bodies and Universities, Government, Private and other Institutions who have necessary background knowledge on Chemical Testing, Biological Testing, Mechanical Testing, Electrical Testing, Forensic and Calibration are preferable. Also suitable for Consultants, Technical Managers, Quality Managers of testing and calibration bodies, regulatory Bodies and other interested parties.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Testing laboratories
B.Sc. degree with four (04) years of work experience in a technical field (testing laboratory) and two of which shall be in the assigned field of testing.
Calibration laboratories
B.Sc. degree with four (04) years of work experience in a technical field (calibration laboratory/ instrumentation and repairs) and two of which shall be in the assigned field of calibration
