Accreditation scheme for Certification Bodies covers Systems Certification and Product certification. Accreditation of Certification Bodies is based on ISO/IEC 17021-1: Conformity assessment Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems.
Accreditation scheme for Inspection Bodies is based on ISO/IEC 17020 – General Criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing the inspection. This scheme provides formal recognition to an inspection body for its services for integrity and reliability.
