The Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB) has been established as the National Accreditation Authority for Sri Lanka of the Parliament Act No 32 of 2005 under the Ministry of Trade. Identifying the need and the importance of certification of Sri Lanka’s educational institutes, the SLAB has organized a free webinar on ISO 21001:2018 – Educational Organizations – MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS.

ISO 21001 provides a common management tool for organizations providing educational products and services capable of meeting the needs and requirements of learners and other customers. It is a stand-alone management system standard, aligned with other ISO management system standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.) through the application of the high level structure.

The webinar is designed to aware about the general requirements of the standard, benefits of being certified, a case study of a successful story. This webinar would be important for any type of an educational institute such as Universities, Colleges, Schools, Training institutes, Tuition classes, Pre Schools and certification bodies , regulators as well.
