Training Workshop on Accreditation of Research & Development Laboratories
Hosted by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (SLAB) in collaboration with UNIDO, this workshop aims to address the growing need for accredited research and development laboratories. By focusing on Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and OECD Guidelines, participants will gain insights into establishing robust Quality Management Systems for R&D Laboratories.
Key Objectives:
- Enhancing competence and validity of research data.
- Facilitating value-added exports and local problem-solving.
- Promoting innovation and new product development, including medical test kits, antibiotics, vaccines, and reference materials.
- Bridging knowledge gaps and assisting laboratories in initiating GLP projects.
